Summer is the season for getting outdoors to explore nature. And if you like to explore nature from the seat of an all-terrain vehicle, then one of the best spots to go this summer is the Paiute ATV Trail. This unique course forms a 275-mile loop throughout the heart of South Central Utah. The Paiute ATV Trail has been rated by various riding magazines and routinely falls among the top ten routes in the nation. We at the Lodge at Red River Ranch encourage you to get out and ride the Paiute Trail.

The Paiute ATV Trail offers riders amazing scenery. From dense alpine forest backdrops to stunning cliff-side overlooks, the Paiute Trail has everything we look for in the perfect ride. The majority of the trail was created by merging old and obsolete mountain roads in the Fishlake National Forest. This means that the trail is gentle enough for most family rides. In addition to the main loop, there are approximately 2,500-miles of side trails to explore.

Although the ride is definitely enjoyable by itself, we at the Lodge encourage you to stop and hike some of the foot trails in the area. There are also scores of rivers and lakes nearby – most of which are stocked with fish – so be sure to bring a rod.

You can access the Paiute ATV Trail from various towns in South Central Utah including Marysvale, Richfield, Beaver, Fillmore and Salina. Each of these locations offer dining and (most importantly) fuel services. Since we at the Lodge estimate that you will need three to four days to complete the Paiute ATV Trail, be sure to carry enough fuel for the trip.

We at the Lodge at Red River Ranch don’t want you to miss out on the best chance to ride this summer. The Paiute ATV trail is really an incredible vacation opportunity.
