Grand Circle Tour

The Grand Circle tour is the legendary tour of all five of Utah’s national parks. It is the perfect road trip at any time of year, including winter. The winter is much milder in most of southern Utah, providing a welcome escape from the northern part of the state. Also during winter, there are far fewer crowds in the national parks.

Just because the lakes are frozen, it doesn’t mean that you can’t still have an awesome winter fishing experience. Ice fishing can be just as fun as summer fishing, if somewhat colder. (We definitely recommend warm clothes and good boots.) In our blog we’ve mentioned Brian Head ski resort several times. We at the Lodge at Red River love going to Brain Head each season and spending some time on the mountain. Recently, however, another resort has opened in Beaver. And it’s caught our attention. It’s called Eagle Point.
