Nature, Outdoor adventures, Travel

We at the Lodge at Red River Ranch would like to thank all our guests for a great past year. We wish everyone happiness and prosperity in the New Year!

For those who are thinking about their vacation plans in this New Year, we hope you consider visiting Southern Utah. Come enjoy all the beauty that this landscape has to offer. We recommend any and all of the national parks in Utah: Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, and Zion National Parks, but we especially recommend Capitol Reef. There are also many other public land areas, state parks, national forests, and national monuments that are worthy of your vacation plans. We suggest such wild place as Natural Bridges National Monument, Grand Staircase National Monument, Goblin Valley State Park, and Fishlake National Forest.

In addition to the breathtaking scenery, Southern Utah has some of the best recreational opportunities in the world. You can go hiking and camping in Zion National Park, take guided horseback tours in the rugged backcountry of Waterpocket Fold, raft the whitewater of Labyrinth Canyon, water ski in Lake Powell, go mountain biking on the slick rock of Moab, play with off-road vehicles in the West Desert, or rock climb in Capitol Reef National Park. In fact, there is so much to do, that we can’t even list it all. Come see what adventures await you.

We hope you find the time in 2013 to visit Southern Utah, because we know you’ll have an amazing time. From all of us at the Lodge at Red River Ranch… Happy New Year!
