We have some amazing news for anyone who will be in Southern Utah on August 12th. The Utah Symphony will be performing at all the Utah national parks in its Mighty 5 Tour. This is a historic opportunity to enjoy nature coupled with fantastic music.
The Utah Symphony Mighty 5 Tour will kick-off on August 12, 2014 in the Teasdale Community Park. Teasdale is a town just outside of its more famous neighbor, Torrey, Utah. Both are located just minutes from Capitol Reef National Park.
On April 13th, the tour will move to the Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, to celebrate both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. (These parks are situated just across from each other and share Moab as their gateway town.)
The Symphony will play again at Ruby’s Bryce Canyon Rim at Ruby’s Inn near Bryce Canyon National Park. This performance will take place on the 14th.
Finally, on the 15th of April, the Utah Symphony will perform at the OC Tanner Amphitheatre in Springdale, near Zion National Park.
In addition to the main shows, various other events will be held as the symphony tours. For a complete list check out this page here.
Tickets for the various shows can be purchased here, beginning May 1st.
We hope that you will take the chance to explore the beauty of nature and the beauty of music together during the Utah Symphony’s Mighty 5 National Parks tour.
